Get off your But

Is your Life a Gift or A Burden? 1

Sean Stephenson

“Get off your But”

After spending an hour listening to a conference call featuring Sean I knew I had to find out more about this amazing person.

Sean was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta also know as “brittle bone disorder”.  At birth, nearly every bone in his body were broken. His parents were told to face the reality that either their newborn son would not survive or if he did, he was not going to be “normal”.

By the time Sean was 18 he had suffered over 200 fractures and knew more about physical pain than most of us in a lifetime.

Sean’s “AHA” moment happened during one of these tortuous fractures. Sean was in the 4th grade and like many 4th graders was looking forward to the Halloween party in his neighborhood. In his rush to get ready, he ran into a doorway and completely shattered his femur.

Sean’s mom, seeing her son in agony once again, asked him one important question: “Is your condition going to be a gift or a burden”. That question changed the course of Sean’s life forever.

Listen to Sean explain how this epiphany set him on a course of seeing his life as a gift.

Here is the conference call that set me on a journey to find out more about this amazing person. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did
