Yes….BUT 1

Yes, But

I’m constantly amazed how we allow YES, BUT to rule our lives.

How many times have you had an opportunity to change something in your life that would bring you more time, money, health, wealth, better relationships or even greater self-confidence?

Each time we are given an opportunity to expand and grow our own YES, BUT gets in the way. What do I mean by that. Quite simply put, we are our own worst enemy when it comes to Law of Attraction or in other words getting what we really, really, really want.

Yes, Buts cause us to second guess our own intuition. Have you ever found something that was so extraordinary that you wanted to tell your friends? Only to talk yourself out of it by not following through with your hearts intent. We talk ourselves out of sharing and caring for others based on our past history and the past belief system that we hold onto for dear life. As Dr. Phil would say “how’s that working out for you?” My guess, not well. In order to grow and expand we need to put our Yes, But aside and do it anyway.

Silencing your Yes, But will give you more confidence to tackle any obstacle that you face. Concentrate or meditate on what would occur if you “did it anyway” meaning. Fill your head with the positive outcome that you desire, focus on what it feels like, sounds like and then just go for it!

Another cousin of Yes, But is If Only. I could achieve such and such IF ONLY….you fill in the blank. We all fall victim to these two cousins and it is up to us to silent them. Their purpose in our lives is to limit our growth. And, they are darn good at it.

Write out your Top Ten list of achievements you want to accomplish in your life. On another page write out all your Yes Buts and If Only’s. Once your done tear it up and throw it away. Now you have no more excuses or reasons why you can’t get what you really, really, really want in life! Focus on your Top Ten daily, memorize it and take one step each day to bring it into your reality!

Yes-Buts and What-Ifs….. we’ve all fallen prey to those little hang-ups, and I can guess many times over! It also helps to stop worrying about everyone else and start putting yourself and your dream first, and let’s face it, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
